DailyMail: The co-founder of the internationally successful Tommy Hilfiger fashion line has put his Lake Tahoe mega-mansion back on the market with an asking price of $75 million. After six years and a $25million discount, a frustrated Joel Horowitz has even offered to finance the nine bedroom, 27,000-square-foot mansion for the winning bidder. The estate, called Tranquility, includes 210 acres of land situated amidst a massive aspen and pine forest – loaded with over-the-top features including an indoor glass mosaic pool, private lake, 16-car garage, golf course, horse stables, wine cellar, cinema, and a basketball court. Forbes reports that Horowitz was originally asking $100 million, making it one of the most expensive homes in the U.S. But after six years with no billionaire buyer he has cut the price to $75 million. Horowitz and his wife bought the mountain-style estate, once briefly owned by Wayne Newton, in 1997. It’s located in Zephyr Cove, an upscale neighborhood on the tax-free Nevada side of Lake Tahoe. The home is a mix of grand design inspirations. According to the Sotheby’s listing, the staircase is ‘an exact replica of the grand staircase built on the S.S. Titanic and a cigar lounge fashioned after New York’s famed St. Regis Hotel’.

You know, just so you can see what a $100 million dollar home looks like.
